Rocco | 1 Year

Meet Rocco. This handsome little man was such a good sport! His Mom and I had collaborated some ideas for his photos ahead of time through numerous emails. She had purchased several props she wanted to try with him which made his session even more unique. Unfortunately, we ran into a little problem when we arrived at the location we had planned to shoot at- they would not allow us to bring in props- the nerve of them! :)
So we persevered, and found ourselves a nearby park instead! It was a bit chilly, but Rocco was awesome and let us get some fun shots of him and his family. The air-balloon shot is one of my favorite shots. EVER. Thanks again Monica and Tony. It was a lot of fun working with you!
And Happy 1st Birthday to Rocco!

Exciting changes for Meredith Hunt Photography!

The year 2013 has brought with it some very exciting changes!

The first, is that my husband and I are expecting our very own newborn model :)
We are beyond thrilled and can't wait to spoil this little baby as much as possible!
Our little man is expected to arrive by July 4th, which is why I am unavailable for photos this summer.

The second definite change, is that I will be focusing even more on newborn photography.
My intention this fall and in the years ahead is to market myself primarily as a newborn photographer. This is definitely where my passion lies and where I hope to continue to grow professionally. With that goal in mind, I will be leaving the rest of my schedule open to newborns only. Those that book a newborn session with me will have the option to add a maternity session at a package price.
I'm thinking about holding mini-sessions periodically throughout the year to accommodate those that may be interested in other portrait sessions such as child, family, etc.

Please like/follow my facebook page and/or follow my blog if you wish to receive updates/notifications about mini-sessions that may become available in the future.

For newborns:
A new option will be available to you. I have always come to the client's home to take newborn photos- a definite convenience for the parents. While this will still be an option, I will soon be offering a studio setting in my own home (located in Downingtown, PA). The studio is preferred, as it will allow me to make better use of our time together as everything will be set up prior to your arrival. The studio setting will also allow me to have all of my props readily available and have guaranteed good lighting for the session.
FYI: The studio will be located on the second floor, accessible by stairs only.

Those preferring the session take place in their own home will still have that option, though it will come with an added fee, along with potential travel fees depending on location.

Please contact me ASAP if you are interested in booking a newborn session this fall (beginning October 1). It is best to book early as my availability is limited and spots fill up quickly.

One last change, is that a new website is in the works and will hopefully be launched a little later this year. I hope to have a Pay Pal account setup on the website allowing clients a safe and easy alternative to pay deposit and booking fees. Since I am a one-woman-show over here, the website is coming along slowwwwwly. But I'm excited about it and can't wait to have it up and running!

I love hearing feedback from my fans and am open to suggestions/requests.

Thank you all so much for your encouragement and support!

Meredith

Henry | Newborn

Another little peanut, baby Henry, was just 6 pounds of cuteness! At 10 days old, he was a great sleeper and allowed me to get lots of fun shots of him. My favorites are definitely his baseball shots- Mom provided these props- and it really turned out so cute! Congrats Lauren and Zach!

Sophie | Newborn

Who's way behind on blogging? this girl!

Without further delay, here is sweet little Sophie. She was 8 days old when we met, and an absolute doll. One of the tiniest little ones I've photographed! Her big sister, Rose, was slightly more interested in my props than she was in posing with her baby sister, but who can blame her :)  Congrats to Mike and Rita on their second, adorable, little girl!
